Our philosophy is simple and straightforward: When people are seeking out a webinar - they do a search. If you
have a webinar relating to the topic they are looking for - you want
YOUR webinar to be found. The more people who find your
webinar...the more attendees you have...the more revenue you
see. It's that simple. Our specialty is getting you found. Search for webinars and
you'll see Metamosis at
the top of almost every search engine. So if your webinar is listed with
Metamosis - then YOU are at the top of the search results
too. It's that simple. There are no bells and whistles on the Metamosis site. There's
information. THAT is what people want. Results. And information. THAT is
what we deliver. It's that simple. $20 a month to advertise a webinar? With THE premier webinar directory
on the web. Where people go when they're looking for a webinar...when
they're looking for YOUR
webinar. Managers have many tasks for which they are responsible. In order to
help them work successfully in their leadership positions, management
training offers the advantage that they need to succeed. But it can be
difficult to gather everyone together at the same time for a training
event. The Internet provides the equaling medium by which all managers in
your organization can receive training suited to their particular schedule
and needs. Webinars make sense for supervisor training for many compelling
reasons. |
(WEB-based semINAR) A workshop or lecture delivered over the Web. Webinars may be a one-way Webcast, or there may be interaction between the audience and the presenters.
Short for Web-based seminar, a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the Web.
A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements -- the ability to give, receive and discuss information. Contrast with Webcast, in which the data transmission is one way and does not allow interaction between the presenter and the audience.
A webinar is a web conference - typically one-way (from the speaker to the audience with limited audience interaction) such as in a webcast. Webinars can be collaborative and include polling and question & answer and voting sessions to allow full participation between the audience and the presenter. In some cases, the presenter may speak over a standard telephone line, while pointing out information being presented onscreen, and the audience can respond over their own telephones, speaker phones allowing the greatest comfort and convenience. There are web conferencing technologies on the market that have incorporated the use of VoIP audio technology, to allow for a completely web-based elearning communication.
Web conferencing is used to conduct live meetings, training, or presentations via the Internet. In a web conference, each participant sits at his or her own computer and is connected to other participants via the internet. This can be either a downloaded application on each of the attendees' computers or a web-based application where the attendees access the meeting by clicking on a link distributed by e-mail (meeting invitation) to enter the conference.
In the early years of the Internet, the terms "web conferencing" was often used to describe a group discussion in a message board and therefore not live. The term has evolved to refer specifically to live or "synchronous" meetings.
Some popular webinar software (also called web seminar software) includes Webex, GoToMeeting, Adobe Acrobat Connect, Microsoft Office Live Meeting. There are many more software packages available for broadcasting, centralized conferencing, chatting, collaboration, conference calls, courses, distance learning and eLearning.
e-Seminars are electronic seminars delivered over the Internet using live streaming video, digital whiteboards, audio and graphics. Unlike classroom seminars, e-Seminars are available anytime and anywhere you have an Internet connection. Eliminate travel and other costs associated with attending classroom seminars. There are many free webinars that are instructional, some interactive, some are recorded, some are live events. A free webinar is a good way to get a web tour and view webcasts and web demos. There are multi-media virtual classrooms, some using webcams, where presenters use voip for delivering their seminars. Remote desktop control is often used for sharing over an online network.
On-line learning and online tutorials and presentations save travel costs. You can have polls and surveys published over your network - and get real-time answers. Teleconferencing enables participants to attend a web conference with leaving their own computer or office. It's as easy as sending a text message.
